About Us
The International Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (IACCS) is an international and national subsidiary of the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and School (FACCS).
Dedicated Christian pastors, missionaries, educators, parents, and students around the world will benefit from the leadership and programs available through IACCS.
Accreditation and Co-Accreditation.
IACCS offers schools a quality accreditation program patterned after the nationally recognized standards of FACCS. Once a qualifying school has attained a full accreditation status, they may apply for expanded national and international co-accreditations under the FACCS/National Council for Private School Accreditation protocols.
Professional Educator Certification
IACCS Teacher and Administrator certification provides the individual with a professional credential within the Christian school. The public relations benefit to IACCS member schools will work to attract and keep qualified staff, families, and students.
Professional Development
IACCS offers an annual convention and conferences for teachers and administrators, online seminars, and cooperative efforts with member Christian colleges as a means toward the professional development of staff.
Extracurricular Student Programs
IACCS offers to students the opportunity to develop their God-given abilities through festivals and competitions:
Creative Writing Festival - writing festival for 1st-8th grades
Brain Bowl - academic team competition for 9th-12th grades
Junior Fine Arts Festival and Competition - art, music, and speech festival and competition for 1st-8th grades.
High School Fine Arts Festival and Competition - Bible, art, music, speech, writing, spelling, and academic testing competition for 9th-12th grades.
Pearson Student Assessment Program
IACCS member schools may participate in a specially designed assessment program allowing them to purchase SAT/OLSAT testing materials at a discount. It also provides valuable reporting and comparisons on a national and international level.
Publications
IACCS publishes an electronic educational journal called Life@School®. Provided free of charge to all member school faculty, it is packed with practical information to help challenge the Christian educator on both a professional and personal level. Other educational books are also available.
Human Resource Placement Services
IACCS member schools may post open positions at www.iaccs.org which can be viewed by potential candidates from all around the world.
